Requirements
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP, including SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.0) and SuiteTalk APIs, as well as other financial applications.
  • Proven track record of developing custom scripts, building API integrations, and automating processes within NetSuite.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring technical teams, with a focus on financial systems and ERP implementation.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile and continuous deployment environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate technical concepts into strategic business solutions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing internal controls and governance structures for financial systems.
Responsibilities
  • ERP System Leadership: Oversee the administration, customization, and optimization of the NetSuite ERP system, including SuiteScript and SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) API integrations. Ensure robust security, data integrity, and alignment with business processes.
  • Custom Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain custom scripts using SuiteScript 2.0 to automate workflows and enhance system functionality. Build and manage complex workflows, Suitelets, and user event scripts to meet business requirements.
  • API Development and Integration: Design, implement, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other financial systems using SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST) APIs, as well as external RESTful APIs. Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a team of financial systems professionals. Utilize experience in managing technical teams to foster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement efficient processes and software configurations, ensuring a strong internal controls framework. Leverage experience in Agile methodologies and continuous deployment to streamline financial operations.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee the planning and prioritization of system enhancements and future ERP system generations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial systems with the company’s strategic objectives, utilizing API integrations and custom scripts to support these initiatives.
  • Integration and Automation: Drive the integration of new entities into existing financial systems. Utilize expertise in integration platforms like Dell Boomi and UiPath to enhance process automation and ensure smooth data flow across systems.
  • Reporting and Data Governance: Lead the development and maintenance of financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery. Manage the governance of master data and business rule calculations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including IT and senior management, to understand and address business needs. Use strong communication skills to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely technical support for all financial applications, including debugging and optimizing custom scripts. Manage incident resolution through Jira and other tools, ensuring that all system-related issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with vendors supporting financial systems. Ensure that service agreements are maintained and that system upgrades and enhancements are delivered according to business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to drive best practices across financial systems management, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with the Finance Leadership Team.
