Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
Responsibilities
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements short & long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
  • Collaborates with Contract Manufacturers, ensuring that purchase orders are placed at the appropriate time, for the appropriate quantity – generating a production plan for the next 3-6 months – and that all invoices are paid.
  • Monitors inventory to ensure communication between Medtronic and Contract Manufacturer is aligned with net requirements, minimizing over producing and over purchasing.
  • Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
  • Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
  • Performs continuous improvement projects for self & team; generating standard work documents, helping to improve current processes, and striving to make them better for all.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.
  • Effectively manages the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and backorder dollars.
  • Liaises with regions, DRP teams, Customer Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, and Distribution to improve overall communication and process flows.
