Senior Supply Planning professional interested in working in Surgical Robotics, collaborating with Contract Manufacturers and internal customers. This role focuses on end-to-end supply planning, beginning with Master Production Scheduling, and finishing with delivery of product from our Contract Manufacturers to our Distribution Centers.

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Supply Chain Planner Analyst to join our dynamic Medtronic Robotic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless coordination and optimization of our supply chain processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and planning inventory, demand forecasting, and supply chain operations to support our surgical product lines.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Analyzes, develops, and implements short & long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
- Collaborates with Contract Manufacturers, ensuring that purchase orders are placed at the appropriate time, for the appropriate quantity – generating a production plan for the next 3-6 months – and that all invoices are paid
- Monitors inventory to ensure communication between Medtronic and Contract Manufacturer is aligned with net requirements, minimizing over producing and over purchasing
- Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
- Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
- Performs continuous improvement projects for self & team; generating standard work documents, helping to improve current processes, and striving to make them better for all.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics.
- Effectively manages the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and backorder dollars.
- Liaises with regions, DRP teams, Customer Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, and Distribution to improve overall communication and process flows.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
Nice to Have
- Supply Chain Management, Engineering Industrial, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience employing an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in supply chain activities, including using Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Experience with computer applications including Microsoft office.
- Master’s Degree.
- APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and applications.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written).
- Experience managing projects and working in teams.
- Six Sigma, Lean and DMAIC expertise.
- Familiar with working in an ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated environment.
- Strong analytical, planning, Excel and organizational skills..
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience using SAP/ECC, Blue Yonder, or other ERP systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint focus).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$66,400.00 - $99,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
