Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and at least 12 years’ experience, or STEM master’s degree with 10 years’ experience, or a STEM PHD with 8 years’ experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI is required
  • Demonstrable expertise with Java or C++ and scripting languages (bash, python, yaml) in a Linux environment
  • Writing micro-services in event driven architecture using containers and container management, Helm Charts, Cloud Platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing and deployment
  • Experience leading software development teams and interacting with customers/stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access if needed.
Responsibilities
  • Leading software development and integration teams.
  • Working with internal business partners to gather requirements, prototyping, and creating complex solutions supporting joint all domain command and control advanced studies utilizing cloud technologies and CI/CD.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Battle Management in one or more operational domains
  • Experience with version control and collaborative development tool suites
  • Experience with DoD Open Architecture solutions such as Open Mission Systems
  • Knowledge of data driven architectures and solutions
  • Knowledge and familiarity of software and systems engineering
  • Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile Dev*Ops environment
  • Experience configuring Linux environments (e.g., installing RPMs)
  • Experience with software/container security scanning tools
  • Experience with Ansible automation
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite including Confluence, JIRA, Crucible, Bitbucket
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, collaborative/team settings across all levels
  • Strong software architecture design and diagnostic/problem solving skills
  • Experience working Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Security+ certification
