  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years in relevant experience (propulsion controls, calibration, and/or testing)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Vehicle Reaction Testing and/or Torque Security experience
  • Ability to review software documents to learn and understand software
  • Demonstrated experience with calibration and DVP&R through the complete product cycle
  • Experience in problem solving
  • Strong technical research and writing skills
  • Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Calibrating the propulsion system
  • Calibration tracking
  • Understanding supervisory control governing body compliance
  • Integrating key parts of the software and calibrating all HV and Propulsion related monitoring functions
  • Coordinating vehicle reactions
  • Prototype vehicle calibration and support
  • Translating vehicle functional safety requirements/functional objectives and formulating development and testing plans
  • Working with suppliers and Re:Car teams to ensure successful launch and release
  • Defining, completing, and supervising design verification plans (DVP) and reporting
  • Supporting production ramp and field issue resolution
  • Developing and implementing Vehicle Reaction Testing
  • Providing and reporting Vehicle Reaction Testing status throughout program development
  • Calibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes)
  • Executing programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability, and customer satisfaction
