What You’ll Get to Do:
Development and testing of software for both space-bound and air-bound FSO communications system
More About the Role:
- Write scripts in Python and C++ for automated software and hardware testing.
- Enhance existing GUI scripts to support testing.
- Learn Jenkins and help maintain automated build system.
- Assist in test and debug effort and update tickets in defect management system (Jira).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must currently be enrolled in High School OR a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate Student
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experienced with programming embedded systems.
- Understanding of embedded system tool chains (IDEs, compilers, linkers, debuggers).
- Experienced with network protocols.
- Experienced with Linux OS.
If Undergraduate or Graduate, pursing a degree in a related field is preferred, not required
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
