  • You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health's mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you
  • 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, business intelligence and related data functions and at least 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity
  • Expertise with database modeling and data warehousing principles
  • Honed your SQL best practices by working with tools like dbt, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Honed your BI best practices through experience with tools like Looker, Tableau, Mode, or Periscope/Sisense for Cloud Data Teams
  • Experience using, building and enabling data analytics and ML infrastructure
  • Experience with data platforms and technologies, including data lakes, data warehouses, data analytics, data science, BI & data visualization, data management and data governance
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with SQL and a statistical analysis language (R/Python)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Proximity to NYC or willingness to travel once a quarter to NYC
  • Set a strategic direction for the data foundations team that accelerates our migration to the modern data stack in the near term while also laying the groundwork for longer term infrastructure investments to power machine learning applications
  • Develop the core infrastructure choices for the data lake and data warehouse, creating our foundational data models along with the corresponding data pipelines, and setting up the practices and processes to ensure reliable and high quality data across our ecosystem
  • Work with upstream data producers, product managers, business stakeholders, data engineering and product teams to collect the right data and build out our foundational data models
  • Collaborate with product and business collaborators across the org to gather feedback and requirements for Spring Health's future data needs and define a prioritized roadmap for the team
  • Own the vision for BI tools to build out self service reporting infrastructure
