Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • One year of professional program, outreach, or event coordination experience is required; additional qualifying work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis for up to four years.
  • Knowledge of outreach and marketing strategies is required.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems, including filing and record-keeping, is required.
  • Oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments is required.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds is required.
  • Employment eligibility verification and, where applicable, renewed employment authorization must be completed in accordance with federal immigration law.
Responsibilities
  • Lead retention and engagement efforts for Interdisciplinary Business Honors students.
  • Coordinate daily program operations.
  • Plan extracurricular events and orientations.
  • Manage student communications.
  • Advise students and student organizations.
  • Provide support to program staff and faculty as needed.
  • Work some evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of experience working with students in student retention, student advising, or student programming is preferred.
  • A master's degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field is preferred.
  • Background in advising, student programming, or program administration is preferred.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
