Requirements
  • Pursuing a BS/BA Engineering degree or a related field
  • Completion of Junior year at start of internship
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative e.g. school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex data
  • Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
  • A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher and some previous work experience; if not, we’re happy to provide all the support you will need to succeed in our summer internship
Responsibilities
  • To work in a multi-functional team resolving real world issues from a strategic and tactical focus.
  • Assist with the focus on equipment availability while supporting all metrics of the assigned area.
  • While contributing to these projects, their most crucial responsibility will be on their development and understanding the business and its operation.
  • To reduce quality issues in the Doors Value Stream and improve delivery and productivity in the Frames Value Stream.
  • To liaise with operations, maintenance and other department while seeking to improve engagement among employees.
  • To explore and seek new technologies that are compatible with current processes and products.
  • Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities.
