  • Experience diagnosing revenue performance across the full funnel, including understanding where deals are lost, why sales cycles extend, and what structural issues limit growth.
  • Experience using customer relationship management data to run structured deal reviews, identify risk, and hold sellers accountable for data quality; familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot as a management tool.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders such as CEOs, founders, or general managers on commercial performance, including navigating organizational resistance and earning trust before driving change.
  • Experience adapting a sales-management approach across companies with different sales-maturity levels.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new and expansion bookings growth across the cluster through prospecting, opportunity development, and account growth.

  • Contribute to annual, quarterly, and monthly commercial planning by testing growth assumptions against pipeline health, execution capacity, and historical performance.
  • Diagnose revenue performance across segments, teams, and funnel stages.
  • Provide feedback on pricing discipline, discounting practices, packaging effectiveness, and ideal-customer-profile conversion efficiency.
  • Translate performance signals into executive-level recommendations and commercial action plans.
  • Support coordinated commercial activation initiatives to increase sales engagement and revenue conversion effectiveness.
  • Act as a strategic commercial partner to CEOs and Business Unit Leaders.
  • Challenge growth assumptions constructively and escalate persistent underperformance when required.
  • Work across multiple portfolio companies without direct line authority, driving change through credibility, clarity, and structured analysis.
  • Step into real deals, review opportunities with sellers, and diagnose pipeline issues directly with the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a private-equity-backed or multi-entity software-as-a-service environment.
  • Structured coaching and seller development, including designing and running structured one-to-ones, deal reviews, and field accompaniment.
  • Pipeline discipline and forecasting, including critically reading pipelines, identifying risk early, and improving forecast reliability.
  • Change management in resistant environments, including driving commercial-process adoption without relying on formal authority.
  • Commercial planning and challenge, including building bottom-up revenue views, pressure-testing top-down assumptions, and presenting credible alternatives to leadership.
  • Commercial storytelling, including presenting risk assessments to CEOs and senior leadership and leading quarterly business reviews that drive decisions.

What believers are saying

  • Everfield signed Rhebo on April 30, 2026, strengthening industrial OT security in DACH.
  • Genero joined on July 6, 2026, expanding Nordic field-workforce reach and retail execution software.
  • Strategic Thinking and EVO Software deepened its UK healthcare footprint in January 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Rapid 2026 expansion across Sweden, France, Germany, and Denmark stretches integration capacity immediately.
  • Each acquisition depends on regulatory approvals and founder retention, exposing closing and execution risk.
  • A failed roll-up would destroy trust in Everfield’s decentralized model and freeze future sourcing.

What makes Everfield unique

  • Everfield keeps acquired brands independent while sharing operating playbooks across 40-plus software companies.
  • Its buy-and-hold model targets mission-critical vertical SaaS, not financial engineering or quick exits.
  • The firm concentrates on specialist niches like healthcare, hospitality, field operations, and OT security.

Aarhus-based software company gets a new owner: "gives us the opportunity to continue development"

Aarhus-based software company gets a new owner: "gives us the opportunity to continue development" This post is also available in: Danish Aarhus-based software company Amero has a new owner after European B2B software investor Everfield has acquired the company. The acquisition gives Amero a long-term owner with a focus on scaling vertical software solutions, while the ambitions for growth continue from Aarhus, according to a press release. "With Everfield, we get a long-term owner who understands our business and our culture - and who allows us to continue the development of Amero. This puts us in a strong position to build the company further - while strengthening our solutions and maintaining the close relationship with our customers," says Jakob Højland, CEO of Amero. Builds on specialized software. Amero provides modular POS and inventory management solutions for specialty retail, recycling and attractions and has been unified since 2023 through a merger between FlexPOS and Amero. The company is headquartered in Aarhus, employs around 50 people and has customers such as the Red Cross, the National Museum and Bahne. The platform is specifically targeted at organizations with operations across multiple locations and integrates payment, inventory management and customer management in a single system. "I'm proud of where Amero is today - with a strong product, strong customers and a culture built on values that live in everyday life. We have a community that is felt in everyday life and where colleagues thrive and want to stay. It makes me both proud and confident to pass on the baton to an owner who will build on what has already been created," says Kasper Smith, former majority owner of Amero. New owner with focus on scaling. With Everfield as new owner, Amero becomes part of a larger European ecosystem of vertical software companies. "Amero is one of the preferred software providers for specialty retail companies in Denmark. Their unified platform covers POS, payments, inventory and customer management in one system. We look forward to supporting the team and giving them the support and resources they need to scale further," says Lorenz Fuglsang, Country Manager for the Nordics at Everfield. The acquisition is Everfield's third in Denmark and part of a broader strategy to build a portfolio of specialized B2B software companies across Europe. Danish foodtech startup HeapsGo acquired by European software group Everfield

HeapsGo, a Danish B2B software platform for restaurant chains, has been acquired by European software group Everfield. The startup has since transformed into a profitable white-label software platform serving restaurant chains. HeapsGo provides branded systems covering online ordering, mobile apps, self-service kiosks, loyalty programmes and payment integrations. The company is now Denmark's market leader in white-label ordering software, working with major chains including Jagger and Bone's, and expanding into Germany, Norway, Sweden and Iceland. The acquisition marks Everfield's second Nordic investment. The original founders and management team will continue operations unchanged.
