Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Must possess fundamental working knowledge of HRIS
  • Effective communication in a business environment is highly desired
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information, think analytically and solve problems
  • Proven track record of successfully exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first line of support to employees for human resources administration and day-to-day activities. Respond to general HR inquiries, including but not limited to employment and benefit and leave programs
  • Coordinate and support recruitment with Talent Acquisition team, as needed
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding procedures including new hire orientations
  • Conduct exit interviews and assist in coordination of termination and off-boarding procedures
  • Facilitate performance review process, providing guidance, tools, and training as needed
  • Support managers and employees with performance management processes including coaching, performance development plans and corrective action, advancing complex issues as appropriate
  • Support the development of effective local HR policies, practices, and guidelines
  • Partner with employees and management in communicating and implementing policies, practices, business procedures, and guidelines for compliance
  • Advise managers and employees on organizational policy matters such as FMLA, COBRA, and harassment policies
  • Share in the preparation and maintenance of employee personnel files and HRIS records and support best practices for confidentiality and HR data integrity
  • Track and coordinate all employee leave of absence activities including FMLA, STD, LTD. Manage communications with employees on leave of absence programs and benefits. Coordinate communication with internal supervisors/managers and other business partners on status updates
  • Support the alignment and execution of compensation processes, including annual planning, job benchmarking and routine payroll processing
  • Assist in gathering and preparing HR data for reporting requirements and analysis
  • Assist in planning and coordination of company events, initiatives, programs, and special projects
  • Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reporting for insurance purposes
  • Advance complex issues to Management, as appropriate
