Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Accounting or Finance degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of relevant financial modelling and analysis, accounting, or finance experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills with a mindset of formula efficiency
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to drive projects from start to finish and display clear attention to detail
  • Able to communicate in a clear, concise and impactful manner – both written and verbally – within our Team and to cross-functional partners (Operations, Accounting, Billing, Commercial and Sales)
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to stay organized, and proactive approach to learning and execution
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and “can-do” personality
Responsibilities
  • Own refresh of monthly FP&A team reports and upload key performance indicator (KPI) metrics to Prophix - Daniel's financial reporting system
  • Support team at month-end to compare actual results to budgeted figures, investigating and explaining any deviations
  • Assist team in financial analysis interpreting data from various sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Consolidate budget submissions from various departments, upload to Prophix reporting system and generate budget packages for Business Units
  • Perform high level review for accuracy after upload
  • Familiarize yourself with Daniels’ product offerings, cost structure and how our plants’ waste management activities drive impact on our financial results
