Responsibilities
  • Lead a team comprising of a Technical Director, Product Owner, and R&D Manager, as well as Automation Project Managers, to conceptualize and develop end-to-end solutions tailored to the specific QC and Production requirements of our games
  • Connect with QC Project Managers and Program Managers to define how the Automation team can assist their projects. Use these insights to define your teams' goals and priorities and accordingly manage their mandate
  • Efficiently manage the mandates and resource allocation for our teams, adhering to established timelines
  • Post delivery of solutions and tools work with Project Managers and Program Managers to improve adoption and put in place a feedback mechanism for the deliveries
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing with global teams working on similar topics, ensuring a cohesive contribution to Ubisoft’s global ecosystem while avoiding duplicative efforts
  • Establish a data-driven culture within the automation team, closely monitoring and controlling the team's business KPIs to drive continuous improvement and optimal performance of our solutions
  • Cultivate a positive, open, and transparent collaborative environment between the Automation teams and Production teams globally
  • Remain informed about the latest global tech advancements to identify relevant areas for the R&D team to explore
  • Cultivate strong relationships with La Forge and other R&D teams globally, ensuring effective communication and knowledge exchange
  • Provide timely updates on your team’s progress to key stakeholders locally and globally
  • Lead a team of skilled Data Analysts and specialists, driving the development of a Data-Driven culture within our organization
  • Collaborate closely with internal Project Managers and other key stakeholders to understand data requirements and propose effective solutions in the form of informative dashboards and reports
  • Engage with Project Managers and QC Leadership to raise awareness about the benefits of Data-Oriented Testing Methodology, championing relevant initiatives in this direction
  • Provide essential support to local and WWQC Operations by delivering data-driven solutions that define and enhance QC efficiency and productivity across the board
  • Contribute to the creation of dashboards and reports that improve the overall governance and monitoring of our core deliverables
  • Proactively monitor department resources and recommend appropriate team ramp-ups or ramp-downs as needed to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Skillfully plan, organize, and conduct regular assessments of team performance, implementing necessary improvements to achieve set goals
  • Collaborate with HR teams to design comprehensive and well-defined career paths for various roles within your team, fostering professional growth and development
  • Take charge of creating and overseeing the overall development plan for your teams, working closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) department to ensure access to relevant and suitable courses for continuous skill enhancement
