CloudTrucks is hiring a Factoring & Payment Operations Strategy, Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing factoring business and to help shape the direction of the newly formed Payment Operations team. Earning trust from our driver, broker and shipper communities are paramount to our business model and ensuring payments processes flow accurately, consistently and with transparency requires a leader who operates with integrity, process discipline and champions a culture of continuous improvement.

This unique role will be responsible for making sure our drivers and carrier partners are paid efficiently and accurately and brokers and shippers have the required information to allow CloudTrucks to recoup payment on-time. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to partner with the GM, Payment Operations to drive strategic and future facing initiatives that enable us to optimize payment operations infrastructure and workflows across the entire payments landscape. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

• Be the subject matter expert for all things factoring for CloudTrucks 

• Lead the global team responsible for day-to-day factoring operations, including delivery verification, carrier payment and broker invoicing 

• Manage a team of operations specialists (global contractors) and support their career development through performance management and regular feedback

• Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase trust and transparency with carriers, enable faster and more accurate payment processing and increase our recoup value and time to recoup payment from brokers

• Drive new payment operations initiatives, enabling scale and efficiency, from inception through execution and adoption

• Partner cross-functionally with the broader Operations team, Finance, Product, Engineering, Risk, and more. 

• Track project metrics to analyze impact of programs on Payment Operations’ performance, as well as impact on cost structure and client outcomes

• Champion and embody the CloudTrucks culture, mission and values

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in an operations, customer experience or program management and strategy role

• 2+ years of experience managing a team, with expertise in overseeing both contractors and hourly associates. 

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree

• Excellent at written and verbal communication in order to clearly and concisely present information

• Meets timelines consistently and able to effectively work under pressure

• Keen problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, research and analyze problems, determine alternative solutions and create actionable next steps
