MedPharm, a UK-based CDMO, has merged with Tergus Pharma, a US-based contract service provider. The combined entity will operate under the MedPharm name, offering end-to-end drug development and manufacturing services. Michael Kane, Tergus Pharma CEO, will become CEO of MedPharm, while Patrick Walsh remains Executive Chairman. Great Point Partners retains a significant minority stake, with Ampersand Capital Partners and Bourne Partners Strategic Capital holding majority ownership.
