Requirements
  • A high school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Three years of relevant experience in a GxP environment is required.
  • Experience working with machine tools or performing mechanical assembly is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to unplanned equipment failures.
  • Plan and carry out repairs, projects, and company initiatives.
  • Address requested and required repairs across facilities and manufacturing equipment at multiple facilities.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operation manuals.
  • Maintain assigned schedules for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
  • Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Reduce downtime through routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and entering it into a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Maintenance, and Research and Development.
  • Travel between multiple facilities as required.
  • Perform other responsibilities or tasks within the employee's skills and abilities when reasonably asked.
Desired Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

MedPharm, a UK-based CDMO, has merged with Tergus Pharma, a US-based contract service provider. The combined entity will operate under the MedPharm name, offering end-to-end drug development and manufacturing services. Michael Kane, Tergus Pharma CEO, will become CEO of MedPharm, while Patrick Walsh remains Executive Chairman.
