Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an accredited university
  • Good understanding in C/C++ and scripting language (e.g., Python)
  • Good understanding on microprocessor architecture and fundamentals
  • Prior experience in SoC, Embedded system, FPGA or hardware system validation is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Work w/ SoC software and prototyping hardware team to refine and execute the validation plan
  • Develop validation software to enable SoC block functions on prototyping hardware and generate test reports
  • Work on commercial SoC prototyping platforms to facilitate test designs and test suite
  • Build benchmark tools to evaluate performance of the SoC design, including throughput, latency, resource utilization, IO or compute frequency metrics
  • Document validation progress and results in Rivian’s tracking system, to maintain traceability

  • Actively pursuing a degree or one closely related in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering
  • Good analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, and a team player
