Requirements
  • Two to three years sales analyst, financial analysis, and/or pricing background
  • A self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills
  • The ability to work with and analyze large data sets
  • Able to articulate complex technical and financial concepts to a broad audience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to foster & maintain strong partnering relationships with sales and internal departments
  • Prior commercial pricing experience preferred
  • High Proficiency in Analytical tools and Modeling: XLS, G Suite
  • Experience with Sales Tools a plus: SalesForce CRM, SalesForce CPQBS/BA required
Responsibilities
  • Engage with designated sales teams to provide pricing and deal structuring guidance on new deals, RFPs and contract renewals
  • Performing deal pricing analysis and clearly present findings to the team
  • Supporting key strategic and financial projects related with focus on commercial business performance
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with critical business partners (e.g. Revenue Recognition, Legal, Finance, etc.) expedite the review and oversee pricing approvals
  • Work with deal support teams (e.g. Legal, Revenue Recognition, Finance, etc.) to address complex pricing/commercial terms and provide options to enable sales to address and overcome customer objections while maximizing revenue/bookings
  • Participate in the integration planning and execution process for new lines of business and products including: operational readiness and quoting readiness
  • Function as a sales advocate to liaise with Legal and Finance business partners to address/resolve sales impediments and any nuances part of the contractual agreement that would impact revenue recognition or Business performance
  • Facilitate the sales approval and/or "standardized" contract document generation processes
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies
  • Meet customer expectations while having an eye towards future growth and sustainability
  • Manage deals by coordinating efforts which ensure awareness and alignment in deal structures
  • Leverage observations, analytics, feedback to identify enablement opportunities for sellers
  • Drive organized & consistent execution of approval flows to minimize delays in deal progression
  • Performing deal pricing analysis and clearly present findings to the team
  • Evaluate and assess current systems and tools for quoting
  • Drive plan of record for implementation of improvements to current business process
  • Develop and maintain key sales metrics related to deal pricing and other general sales metrics
