Your opportunity

As a valued  LifestyleCarer at Anglicare Sydney,you will design and deliver engaging lifestyle programs that promote social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of purpose to our residents.

With kindness and understanding, you will:

• Facilitate group and individual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities 

• Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity through meaningful engagement 

• Collaborate with care teams to integrate lifestyle support into holistic care plans 

• Encourage participation and build strong relationships with residents and families 

What you’ll bring

You are a warm, empathetic and creative individual who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You share our values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence. 

What’srequired:

• NDIS Workers Screening Check

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or Bachelors of Diploma inHealth Science or Community Services

• Current First Aid Certificate

What’s preferred:

• Experience in Aged Care and thorough knowledge of accreditation guidelines.

• Lifestyle and activity facilitation skills.

• Teamwork and collaboration with nurses, allied health professionals, and other carers.
