- Interacting with product teams and stakeholders to implement established guidance, practices, and standards into viable processes and solutions
- Gathering and analyzing user requirements across multiple DoD agencies
- Establishing and sharing best practices and principles to guide better productivity
- Providing engineering analysis to ensure adherence to foundation requirements (e.g. compliance, Section 508, architecture, quality, technical)
- Developing artifacts to support wide range of engineering activities
- Strong DevOps and System Administration background
- Experience with software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment with multiple toolsets such as Ansible, Chef, Containers, Kubernetes
- Hands-on software/system engineering experience (e.g., Linux scripting, Infrastructure as Code, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, databases, software development)
- Experience working with, deploying, and managing Linux-based OS systems
- Software product testing experience
