Requirements
- Strong Windows and application support experience, preferably with a banking-domain background.
- Ability to take on projects and complete them within the service-level agreement.
Responsibilities
- Build Windows servers.
- Perform operating-system hardening.
- Provide application support.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operating-system and application issues.
- Manage server patches and application patches.
- Install and maintain Citrix Presentation Servers in the farm.
- Perform security scans and resolve vulnerability issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with hardware vendors when necessary.
- Provide backup and restore solutions using Veritas NetBackup or similar tools.
- Support and manage Storage Area Networks.
- Manage application releases in user acceptance testing and production environments.
- Create and maintain new and existing process documentation.
- Automate processes and improve processes using PowerShell, Visual Basic, and batch programming.
- Support virtual machines and applications running on virtual-machine infrastructure.
