Summary of Role:
In this role, you will manage a team of Project Coordinators (PCs) who are responsible for direct interface with homeowners throughout the design, installation, and commissioning of residential solar systems. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, developing, coaching, and mentoring and leading teams of PCs. In addition to building, developing, and managing a team, you will be part of a leadership group that will identify and continuously improve both the operational workflows of the PCs and the experience of the homeowner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hires, onboards, develops, and coaches PCs. Monitors and manages performance and surfaces effectively corrects underperformance.
- Manages or directly handles escalation calls and/or requests from PCs for advance support on highly complex or otherwise problematic homeowner use-cases.
- Working with cross-functional leaders, augments existing or develops new metrics, analytics, and dashboards to monitor and manage PC performance and process efficiency.
- Support closed loop learning to develop, refine, and implement processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Works cross-functionally to identify, understand, and develop solutions for inter-and-intra departmental operational friction points.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ years Project Coordinator or equivalent solar operations experience and 1+ years demonstrated effective people-management experience in a customer-facing organizations or teams.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage analytics and metrics to monitor and manage complex operational workflows and individual performance.
- Experience working with cross-functional leaders in complex operational environments including hands-on participation in workflow optimization and change management projects.
- Demonstrated strong written, verbal, and aural communication skills including participation in development of written proposals for business process improvement proposals.
- Hands on experience with an enterprise CRM such as Salesforce or equivalent.
- Candidates must reside in Austin, TX or Tempe, AZ to be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction and/or construction management preferred but not required.
