- The position requires teamwork, organization and rigor, dexterity, speed and efficiency, observation, physical stamina, adaptability, following instructions, good hygiene, and emotional management.
- The candidate must follow HACCP hygiene and food-safety rules and the safety instructions for provided equipment.
- The candidate must apply the hotel's fire-safety and other safety procedures.
- The candidate must be able to work 18 hours per week during evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday.
- Organize the dishwashing area and store dishes and equipment in the storage areas to prevent breakage.
- Clean and store dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Receive and sort incoming and outgoing dishes.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen premises.
- Clean refrigerators, ovens, kitchen equipment, and kitchen materials.
- Inspect dishwashing equipment and report malfunctions or anomalies to the supervisor.
- Use dishwashing products according to the supplier's recommended instructions.
- Store deliveries, rubbish, and empty cartons in the containers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and comply daily with HACCP hygiene and food-safety rules.
- Follow the operating and safety instructions for the equipment provided.
- Apply the hotel's safety procedures, including fire-safety procedures.
- Follow the establishment's environmental charter commitments, including energy conservation, recycling, and waste sorting.
