We’re looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
As an IT Business Analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications. Working with your team of architects, developers, testers, DevSecOps engineers, and data scientists, and alongside subject matter specialists, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to the client and end-users.
Remote work is available as workload allows, however the majority of your work will need to be completed onsite at Pearl Harbor.
How You’ll Contribute
Work with client applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes.
Work directly with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement.
Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements.
Support implementation of tools and features that meet needs and requirements of the client systems.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with direct business analysis and requirements in a DoD environment
Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite of tools and Jira and Confluence for Agile development
Experience with working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital solutions that meet business objectives
Experience in working collaboratively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, creating technical requirements to improve business processes, and developing solutions leveraging the software development life cycle
Ability to think critically, use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems, grasp new concepts quickly , comprehend the intent of a client’s needs, and help to shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities
Ability to break down complex problems, identify dependencies and constraints, resolve conflicts, and prioritize needs
Ability to learn new technologies and concepts, perform in a fast-paced work environment, adjust quickly to changing priorities, and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists
Knowledge of Navy domains
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
1+ years of experience as a product owner
1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Experience with wire-framing and prototyping tools
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Qlik Sense
Knowledge of data science processes and best practices
Knowledge of Submarine domains
Possession of excellent documentation, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills
Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
