Requirements
  • At least 6 months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Candidates must currently be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future.
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, with an expected graduation date after December 2027.
  • Proficiency in programming for data and statistical analysis using Python, C++, SQL, and Java.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with mathematical and numerical methods, including Monte Carlo methods, differential equations, linear algebra, applied probability, and statistics.
  • Ability to apply data analysis, modeling, visualization, statistics, research, and generative artificial intelligence to generate insights and support innovative solutions.
  • Ability to use data and software engineering skills to design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborative analytical settings.
  • Business acumen and understanding of capital markets.
  • Ability to act with integrity, support risk assessments, and apply risk controls to manage risk in a disciplined, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop pricing models used by Wells Fargo trading desks.
  • Enhance production models to mitigate deterioration in model performance.
  • Develop simulation models to forecast losses for trading portfolios.
  • Develop benchmark models to assess potential limitations of production models.
  • Analyze and report metrics used to assess ongoing model performance.
  • Apply statistical and quantitative techniques to validate model design, calibration, and implementation.
  • Contribute to strategic business goals through on-the-job project experiences.
  • Participate in the Intern Induction Week, onboarding, leadership speaker series, professional development, and networking activities.

Wells Fargo appoints Anthony Giuliano as head of beauty and wellness investment banking

Wells Fargo has appointed Anthony Giuliano as managing director and head of beauty and wellness in consumer and retail investment banking. Giuliano joins from Perella Weinberg, where he served as partner, and previously held investment banking positions at Nomura and Barclays. He will report to Vik Bhardwaj, head of consumer and retail investment banking at Wells Fargo. Over the past two decades, Giuliano has advised on more than 100 beauty and wellness transactions for companies including Estée Lauder, L'Oréal, Shiseido, and Unilever. MasTec prices $650M senior notes offering at 5.850% to refinance term loan

MasTec has priced a public offering of $650 million in senior notes due 2036. The notes will carry a 5.850% interest rate, payable semi-annually, and were priced at 99.656%. They will mature on 30 September 2036. The company intends to use the net proceeds primarily to repay some or all of its $600 million term loan, which matures on 26 June 2028, and to cover related fees and expenses. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, potentially including repayment of existing debt under its senior unsecured credit facility. The offering is expected to close on 17 August 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. PNC Capital Markets, Truist Securities, Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Securities and J.P. Morgan Securities are serving as joint book-running managers.
