Requirements
  • Experience developing and using test automation frameworks
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and communicate status to complete complicated projects independently and on time
  • At least 3 years experience in software testing
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with product owners and development team to design and document detailed test plans that covers all areas of the development work and will ensure product quality
  • Understand the project, the end user's needs, business needs and project goals
  • Test software bug fixes to ensure they correctly and completely address the underlying issues
  • Proactively notify product owners and software leads of any delays or major development issues
  • Incorporate feedback and experience with previous projects to improve software test plan designs
  • Actively work to further knowledge in the latest developments in software QA
Desired Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in Java, C#, or C++, and SQL preferred

Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire Vermont Information Processing, a software firm for beverage distributors, for approximately $1 billion, including debt, according to sources.
