Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in prototype development, debugging, and testing in a lab environment
  • Experience with FPGA design for embedded systems including Verilog and VHDL
  • Experience with board-level communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN)
  • Experience with documentation (Test Procedures & Reports, Interface Control Documents, ECOs)
  • Experience with source control systems (Git, SVN)
  • Familiarity with additional software languages (C, C++, Python)
  • Experience with system and functional requirements generation
  • Experience with Brushed/Brushless DC Motor control
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the FPGA scope of development, design, test, and manufacturing of electronic Motion Control products
  • Leading the implementation of FPGA-based control systems in multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Participating in design reviews, documenting designs, and interfacing with customers in a technical role
  • Reviewing the work and tasks of other team members
