Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the supplier CapEx strategy: Align with overall business objectives to create a comprehensive CapEx plan that drives cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation
  • Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving value
  • Cost reduction and negotiation: Leverage negotiation skills to achieve optimal pricing and terms for equipment and tooling purchases
  • Supplier performance management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supplier CapEx, including supply chain disruptions and cost fluctuations
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure alignment and optimize CapEx spending
  • Supplier development: Identify and develop strategic suppliers capable of meeting the company's long-term needs
