As a Java Software Engineer you will be responsible for;

Developing and deploying full-stack software systems using AWS that are scalable, reliable, and performant
Collaborating cross-functionally to develop pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment
Owning software applications and systems that enable human and robotic fulfillment at scale
Making meaningful impacts on fast-moving, next-generation technologies by leading design and development efforts for critical and complex systems spanning multiple software and hardware teams.
Working backward from customer needs, you will identify the right technologies to achieve high customer experience standards
Coaching and mentoring other engineers to foster a culture of relentless high-standards and will collaborate cross-functionally to develop pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment.

Qualifications;

2+ years of programming/software engineering experience with Java with a strong emphasis on object-oriented design
Experience building distributed systems
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test full-stack software in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications;

Experience developing in Amazon Web Services – AWS
Experience with mentoring other engineers
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability
Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Strong desire to develop skills in Machine Learning and Data Science

Salary Range: 80K-120K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
