Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a good manufacturing practice environment, such as the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical-thinking ability.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform office-based sedentary work, including prolonged computer use and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Organize documentation and ensure that it is easy to identify and retrieve.
  • Assist with issuing purchase orders and invoices and with budget development.
  • Assist managers with organizing, maintaining, writing, and reviewing good practice documents related to products, production, and contractor oversight.
  • Compile, consolidate, and review documents for product preparation or release, including Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Conformance, Test and Batch Record Review Forms, Executed Batch Records, specifications, investigations, and change controls.
  • Review deviations, corrective and preventive actions, complaint investigations, and change controls for completeness, adequacy, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Author and review standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with tracking stability and reference-standard programs at contractors.
  • Consolidate documentation and data for Annual Product Reviews and trend stability data.
  • Track activities and create monthly metrics.
  • Support client and regulatory audits or inspections as a scribe and process documentation requests.
  • Help organize and prepare for audits and inspections, write or review observation responses, and review status updates to the Food and Drug Administration.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by department management.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed, potentially less than 5%.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, life sciences, or a related field with analytical laboratory experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Visio, and Oracle.
