  • 6-8 years of compliance related experience, including project management
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • CIPP (required)
  • Ability to provide advice and counsel concerning Privacy leading practices and methodology, compliance issues and industry risk trends, including support for privacy within all lines of business
  • Strong familiarity with review of, and report on, the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management within the Privacy arena
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to the enterprise on privacy matters
  • Assist the Senior Privacy Leadership in overseeing and leading activities related to the compliance with privacy policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement a unified control framework and procedures to monitor data privacy and governance for noncompliance to control objectives, activities, privacy policies, regulations, and standards
  • Partner with key senior business stakeholders on privacy incidents and make direct recommendations for corrective actions and mitigation of risks
  • Assist Senior Privacy Leadership in creation and management of privacy training to all employees, business associates and other appropriate third parties
  • Ensure the enterprise is in compliance with state and federal privacy regulations and laws
  • Interpret industry standards and adapt them to pertinent risk prevention and mitigation practices for the enterprise
  • Set measurable goals and examine ways to raise standards, to increase quality and to improve overall privacy risk management efforts at the enterprise level
Desired Qualifications
  • Graduate coursework may be desirable
  • HIPAA, GDPR, CPRA (preferred)
