Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education and experience
  • 1+ year operational and/or technology experience in the life and annuity insurance industry
  • Understanding of insurance industry standard operational technology (e.g. DTCC, ACORD, IRI) and annuity platforms (Ebix/iPipeline/FireLight)
  • Understanding of the business and operational workflows related to life insurance and annuity products
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, as well in a close team environment
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and creative thinking
  • Excellent communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
  • Drive development of industry standard distribution automation solutions across Global Atlantic's Life and Annuity platforms
  • Provide expertise and strategic solutions to operations partners in both life and annuity lines of business
  • Partner with TPAs to define and implement industry standard automation capabilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on B2B supported services for internal partners and project teams - presenting capabilities, assessing impacts, and strategic recommendations
  • Create effective testing procedures and develop quality assurance standards
  • Design and execute test scenarios for life and annuity platforms
  • Reviewing user stories and preparing test scenarios
  • Conduct regression, functional, system, integration, and smoke testing
  • Analyzing, test results, errors or bugs, and usability
