  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a production Data Center environment
  • Experience with asset management tracking and reporting
  • Knowledge of vendor RMA processes
  • Understanding of Data Center Operations and technical requirements
  • High interest in technology
  • Organizational skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to rack equipment up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Up to 30% travel required
  • Full and valid driving license
Responsibilities
  • Support existing hardware in multiple Data Center locations
  • Provide hands-on support for data center systems
  • Install/de-install/relocate rack-mounted hardware
  • Install/de-install/test patching cables
  • Coordinate cabinet power and low voltage cabling
  • Plan and implement installations in multiple Data Center locations
  • Manage contractors for timely completion of work
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory information
  • Maintain data center facilities and systems
  • Work with Procurement team to track orders and deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with data center standards
  • Perform scheduled changes and walkthroughs
  • Manage spare parts inventory
  • Coordinate disposal of hardware
  • Provide status reports for each Data Center location
  • Refine and document support processes
