Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hardware development
  • Proficient in system, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical design
  • Skilled in managing project procurement and technical bid documents
  • Good understanding of robotics concepts, technologies, platforms, and applications
  • Adaptable, with a positive attitude, thriving in rapidly changing environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for onsite support and customer engagement
Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the design and development process for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, leveraging CAD tools including SolidWorks. Focus on iterative design and the application of feedback for design refinement
  • Conduct analysis, simulation, and testing to ensure designs meet performance and reliability standards
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, customer specifications, and safety regulations
  • Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, incorporating Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, to guide the manufacturing process
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers, both local and overseas, to ensure high-quality production outcomes and efficient manufacturing processes
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process controls, and actively participate in supply chain optimization by selecting suitable parts and components
