Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in any subject.

Responsibilities
  • Internalize, plan, and execute engaging lessons differentiated to meet scholars' needs and interests.
  • Create and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive and learn.
  • Build students' foundational love of learning through joyful instruction.
  • Build strong relationships with families and partner with them in their children's education.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teachers, special educators, interventionists, and specials teachers to support students and learn from peers.
  • Understand grade-level expectations outlined in the Common Core Standards and apply them across all subjects taught.
  • Assess student mastery and adjust instruction so all students can reach their academic potential.
  • Use research-based methods and curriculum for science-based reading instruction.
  • Set high expectations, use data to guide instruction, and ensure scholars grow through strong planning, rigorous teaching, and timely reteaching.
  • Implement proactive routines, culturally responsive practices, and consistent communication with families in inclusive, relationship-centered classrooms.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and support daily operations to maintain a safe and organized environment.
  • Model Rocky Mountain Prep's PEAK values and remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment aligned to the organization's evolving Concept Essence.
