Facilities Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure building follows local, state, and federal regulations.
• Design and implement a preventative and corrective maintenance program for facilities assets (power distribution, fire prevention and suppression, etc).
• Develop budget for the facilities department budget.
• Coordinate with wider company staff for construction and start up strategy.
• Oversee 3 Facilities employees.
• Lead housekeeping team.
• Manage projects, typical size >$100,000 budget
• Engage outside vendors for facilities services.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. Engineering
• 5+ years of facilities management experience
• Some of which must be in a facility over a half a million square feet in size
• Must have similar experience out of a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a start up environment would be a major plus.
• General Skills:
• Proactive, mature, and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently and calmly in a multi-task fast-paced environment while being self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to deal calmly and diplomatically with any conflict.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to unexpected circumstances.
• Ability to work in a cross cultural environment.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid Driver License.
• Willingness to work long hours if required by business.
