Job Summary:
The Senior Product Reliability Engineer is tasked with safety-critical design, analysis, testing, and regulatory documentation for ANELLO’s product portfolio. ANELLO’s products are primarily engineered in accordance to auto-centric standards. You will be a key member of product development team responsible for all aspects of quality and reliability. This role emphasizes hardware and system design considerations. Your work will involve hands on environmental testing and failure analysis work. As a key member of the technical team, you will also participate in DFx activities, as well as lead analytical reviews such as FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis and FIT estimations. Where appropriate, you will conceive, execute, and document results for HASS and HAST protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware functional safety analysis
- Develop procedures and processes for hardware functional safety analysis
- Develop FIT models for portfolio products across relevant use cases
- Lead test and qualification efforts using 3rd party labs inclusive of schedule and cost ownership
- Lead safety and reliability-oriented design reviews
- Hands on testing and investigation of field and in-house failures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or other relevant engineering field
- 10-years of industry relevant work experience in field of product quality, safety and reliability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer interaction and customer-ready reports
- Prior experience with Reliability standards related to complex optical modules
- Experience with Quality System development and certifications
- Working knowledge of statistical process control and statistical analysis methods
- Expert in problem-solving, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and recommending a solution
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovation-driven environment
Additional Desired Skills:
- Background in electronic circuit design and characterization
- Experience in autonomous navigation applications
- Proficiency with scripting and tools development as instrumental for testing and data analysis
- Background in Inertial Measurement Units
