Requirements
  • A bac+5 level in Law or IEP is required.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience is required, preferably in a consulting firm, an owner’s organization, or a company working on public construction or development projects as a lawyer or contract manager, with prior team-management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement law, public contracts, construction law, and public business law is required.
  • The candidate must have management and project-management skills and be able to lead consulting missions while managing budgets and deadlines.
  • The candidate must demonstrate methodological rigor, strong written communication, synthesis skills, teaching ability, and comfort with oral communication.
  • The candidate must be able to adapt and integrate into multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Regular mobility to client sites and other EGIS sites is required.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-value, operational consulting assignments supporting project owners.
  • Support the contractual structuring of major construction and development projects, including procurement and lotting strategies, selection of delivery and operating methods, and organization of the project owner.
  • Support contracting activities, including drafting public procurement contracts, analyzing bids, and participating in negotiations.
  • Support contract implementation through contract management, risk management and mitigation, and legal support for project management.
  • Direct and manage consulting assignments and client contracts, including client relationship management, deliverable production, administrative and financial monitoring, cost and schedule tracking, invoicing, and contribution to collections.
  • Contribute to business development for contract-engineering consulting activities, including preparing responses to tenders.
  • Contribute to professional-development initiatives, including methods and tool development for contract management, innovation, management, and adoption of artificial-intelligence-related practices and use cases.
  • Ensure the development of team members’ skills by promoting cross-functional work, anticipation capabilities, and resource adaptation to market needs.
  • Manage and optimize the team’s workload plans within the associated budget objectives.
  • Anticipate activity needs, monitor actual workload levels, and improve information flow regarding employee feedback, workload forecasts, expected changes, and cross-functional needs or availability.
  • Support employees in defining and implementing career paths and incorporate their development objectives into operational staffing decisions.
  • Help find solutions when employees encounter difficulties in performing their activities and participate in first-level decisions when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with group processes, including S1.
  • Participate in the managers’ network and help develop, apply, and promote the consulting management culture.
  • Identify potential recruiting needs and participate in recruitment processes, including job-description preparation, candidate selection, interviews, and onboarding.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a consulting firm, an owner’s organization, or a company working on public construction or development projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
