The expected salary range for this position is $98,516 to $123,710. Responsibilities
  • Cityblock's growth team dynamically supports the Cityblock mission including New Business Development, Existing Partner Management, Policy Intelligence, Market Entry Strategy and Developing Business Cases for New Products
  • The Manager - Growth will be a critical team member, responsible for supporting Cityblock's rapid growth into new and existing markets. The role will support a variety of activities, especially engaging with external organizations to manage sales processes, communicating about Cityblock, analyzing financial structures for new deals, and gaining a deep understanding of the local market and policy dynamics.The role will support efforts across the growth team by providing research, synthesis, analytics, deal structuring, negotiation support, and communications materials that will clearly explain Cityblock to external parties. The role will inform critical strategic considerations, including new products, new markets and refinement of partnership models
  • The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is able to bring a variety of business skills to bear including financial modeling and analytics, executive communication, story-lining, cross-organizational project management, and policy and market-specific research. The ideal candidate has experience in the healthcare space specifically with payers and providers and a basic knowledge of health policy. Relevant backgrounds include consulting, finance, private equity, strategy, and other healthcare related managerial roles

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare industry or health related field with experience in financial analysis, strategy, executive communication and story-lining
  • Project/process management skills and success in a dynamic environment: rigorous, energetic, agile, and flexible
  • Supports deal negotiation strategy and contract review
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships with external stakeholders
  • Experience in rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, likely demonstrated through management consulting, operational expertise or finance
  • Strong working understanding of the healthcare landscape, especially payers, providers and policy
  • Willing to travel as needed (from 0% to 25% on week-by-week variable basis) to perform essential duties
