Requirements
  • 1+ years of professional sales and field account management experience in government and/or technology
  • Experience working in an account management/client success capacity with a SaaS product
  • Demonstrated success hitting or exceeding net retention goals, quota, and/or quarterly KPIs
  • Ability to successfully lead in-person meetings/demos with high-level executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities as well as exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Quick-learning attributes that enable you to pivot and work through ambiguity
  • Proficiency with Salesforce strongly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of SMB clients, driving relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders
  • Ensure client's business objectives and KPIs are captured, understood, measurable, and reported on
  • Build strong client advocates of the FiscalNote brand and suite of services
  • Achieve net retention and upsell/cross-sell goals
  • Lead and manage the renewal process, including pricing and contract negotiation
  • Identify risk and work with internal/external stakeholders to prevent client logo and revenue churn
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and maintain a clean pipeline in Salesforce to reflect this
  • Meet with clients virtually and on-site, facilitating outcome-oriented conversations and leading strong discovery for new business opportunities within the account
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Manager on assigned accounts to ensure healthy product usage/adoption
  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams, including providing feedback from clients on the product
  • Intelligently engage in conversation regarding the legislative and regulatory process
  • Actively and regularly attend industry events
  • Maintain timely documentation of client interactions and account health in Salesforce
