  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related discipline.
  • 10 years of total professional experience and 5 years of experience in Link 16 tactical data link systems engineering, TACSATCOM systems engineering, IBS systems engineering, and/or space-based RF tactical communications focused on development, integration, and testing.
  • This position requires the candidate to have an active TS/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, integration, testing, and validation of Link 16 systems to ensure operational readiness for mission success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Link 16 systems with other space-based and ground-based systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Link 16 systems and their role in tactical communications and data exchange.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration plans, test procedures, and design specifications.
  • Ensure that all Link 16 systems are compliant with mission requirements, performance standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the integration and validation testing of Link 16 systems.
  • Provides expert TACSATCOM knowledge to support program integration efforts.
  • Provides technical expertise on the performance and functionality of tactical satellite communication systems.
  • Leads all integration and testing of TACSATCOM systems to ensure they meet mission requirements.
  • Collaborates with other engineering teams to ensure the integration of TACSATCOM systems with space-based and ground-based infrastructure.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including architecture, system requirements, design specifications, test plans, and integration procedures.
  • Performs technical reviews of TACSATCOM system designs to ensure compliance with operational and mission standards, identifies and closes gaps as necessary.
  • Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution efforts during integration and testing.
