  • An Associate’s degree.
  • A current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within six months of hire.
  • Fetal Monitoring certification within six months of hire for experienced labor nurses or within the start of labor and delivery orientation.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients within the obstetrics unit.
  • Promote continuity of care for patients on the unit by providing direct patient care and supervising the care given by support staff.
  • Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing and Olympic Medical Center.
  • Care for patients under a variety of circumstances, including crisis or emergency situations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in a hospital obstetrics setting.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
