WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technical solutions for our backend engine, built on a microservices architecture with Spring Boot. You will actively contribute to optimizing software development processes, implementing monitoring metrics, ensuring software quality, and maintaining security standards. Additionally, you will collaborate in technical design discussions to align with our reference architecture framework and support agile product development methodologies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in backend application development.
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Kafka for asynchronous processing.
• Experience with MongoDB and relational databases.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS (S3, EKS, API Gateway).
• Strong understanding of software security and quality controls (JWT, OAuth, Sonar, Kiuwan).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (B2+).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices-based backend solutions using Spring Boot.
• Optimize and enhance software development processes to improve efficiency.
• Implement monitoring metrics and alerts to track performance and ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate on technical design to align with the SCIB architecture framework.
• Ensure code quality and implement software security controls following company standards.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, ensuring smooth sprint execution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend solutions with business needs.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
