Requirements
  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in a related field computer science, computer engineering or equivalent technical backgrounds
  • High school or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience with a gaming compliance or technical delivery role
  • Experience working with Lottery, Gaming and/or Tribal regulators, and other Gaming authorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to interpret regulatory documents
  • Good self-organization, ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
  • Competent use of standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to collaborate with technology and product teams
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Knowledge of IT systems, software development, IT management best practices
Responsibilities
  • With the support of the Senior Manager of Technical Governance, ensure technology and operational activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable State laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor and document technical certification audit requirements throughout the year, for new and existing markets
  • Coordinate and submit all technology-related change requests to maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain certification and approval repository for State and independent test laboratories
  • Highly focused on process improvement, while formalizing operational instructions
  • Support the entry into new States or markets
  • Document technical regulatory requirements in a transparent and consistent manner
  • Support collaboration with BetMGM product team on roadmap items
  • Analyze technical regulatory requirements in each market to ensure compliance against all technical requirements and operational processes
  • Communicate relevant changes and/or technical requirements to responsible teams
  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
