Basic Purpose
Assists with ensuring the integrity of on-going operations and maintenance of the company’s customer service systems and its related systems. Assists with the implementation of new system applications and existing system enhancements. Applies business knowledge, technical knowledge, skills, and judgment to assist with problem solving related to customer service systems and subsystems. Performs intermediate level analysis to predict outcomes and recommends possible solutions to meet business operational needs. Operates under moderate supervision.
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field from an accredited school and 2-4 years of related experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the customer information systems and processes. Demonstrated understanding of business system enhancement and modification principles. Demonstrated skills in planning and coordinating projects. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Equipment and Applications
PCs, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. No special physical demands required.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists in evaluating systems needs of staff and operating departments.
- Interviews users and determines information needs and sources of required data
Designs, develops, tests, and implements business system applications and system modifications.
- Designs systems, modules, and or approaches and required enhancements.
- Creates appropriate documentation to support.
- Develops end-user documentation and assists with training as needed.
- Performs analytics using various sources of data to predict/forecast possible outcomes.
- Based on analysis performed, recommends strategies to address possible outcomes and/or to meet business operational needs.
- May perform daily operational tasks in all company’s customer service production systems.
Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
Acts as a business system resource to the organization.
Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Performs related duties as assigned.
