Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of project management experience, with minimum of 5+ years working in software development projects
  • Effective communicator with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience working on software development teams using Agile processes
  • Collaborative, results-driven, “roll up your sleeves” working style and be able to successfully partner with professionals across all levels the organization
  • Scope management
  • Experience managing 3rd party development teams is highly preferred
  • Desired knowledge of delivering software projects in regulated environments (FDA/Medical is a big plus)
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing project budgets and financials
  • Experience with managing contractual change orders processes
  • Project estimation experience is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Each day, you will be:
  • Hands-on, working with internal and 3rd party development teams to plan, execute and deliver enhancements to instrument and cloud based software
  • Directly responsible for managing all aspects of the project delivery, including:
  • Working with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, goals, and outcomes
  • Driving requirements gathering with key stakeholders
  • Developing project schedule, milestones, and plan to meet the goals of the project
  • Managing the development teams using software development process guidelines
  • Communicating effectively with all levels project stakeholders as to status, milestones, risks and issues
  • Collaborate with software development teams, PMO, and internal stakeholders as needed to ensure design control and documentation requirements are properly managed in an FDA-regulated environment
  • Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets
