YOU WILL:

• Manage a small, remote, high-performing, professional Platform Engineering team.
• Craft technical and product strategy for modern cloud infrastructure as well as development tools and processes alongside other technical leads and product counterparts. 
• Facilitate team decision-making while collaborating with architects, DevOps, end-users, and product development squads across teams and locations.
• Think “at-scale” while setting direction for the team, anticipating strategic and technical challenges and ensuring teams are able to deliver exceptional quality.
• Share Platform Engineering and infrastructure knowledge across the organization and create opportunities for teammates to excel in their careers.
• Operate in close partnership with product and engineering teams in the US, Europe, and Israel.  Limited international travel is required.

YOU HAVE:

• 1-3 years experience as a Manager, Principal Engineer or Tech Lead.
• Worked in a performant, high-growth, global scale development environment.  Start up experience is a plus.
• Desire to be a player-coach, active/hands-on with technology and software development processes every day, writing clean, maintainable, testable code and documentation.
• The ability to mentor, challenge and grow the skills of team members.
• Experience bringing people together to achieve goals as an organization through coordinated Agile and Scrum processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is required. German or Hebrew fluency is a plus.
• Extensive hands-on experience with:
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Kubernetes
• Continuous delivery systems
• Observability-driven development
• Modern software development tools and practices
