ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Supervisor located in Billerica, MA to join our Manufacturing team. This individual will oversee manufacturing associates within the clean room executing various stages of assay production. Responsibilities will also include hiring, performance evaluation, training & professional development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining a culture of trust and compliance with established Quality standards
• Work closely with the Scheduler to review manufacturing requirements and generate build plans, establish priorities, resolve problems, and report results
• Drive lean manufacturing efforts, process improvements, regulatory compliance & quality improvement projects, cost reduction efforts, capacity planning, organizational development and supply chain initiatives
• Perform batch record reviews for manufacturing records, complete/review Syteline ERP transactions for associated job orders
• Participate in inventory control and replenishment, interfacing with area managers and other manufacturing technicians
• Participate in documentation and other process improvements, investigations and resolutions of product/process issues and general continuous improvement activities
• Initiate, investigate & close quality systems (deviation, NCMR, CAPA, change control)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or Life Sciences
• 5 -8 years of Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience
• 0-2 years of people management experience within a manufacturing department
• Experience with GMP or ISO certified operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience leading a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment
• Detailed knowledge of ERP system, bills of materials, routings
• Experience with creating and revising process documentation
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
