Requirements
  • University degree in related field (Business administration, finance, operations, project management) or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of proven project management experience, (PMP preferred)
  • Detailed knowledge of fundamental project management concepts and methodologies
  • Executive presence and the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust within all functions and across all levels, including executive
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an enthusiasm for establishing and maturing a PMO function in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience establishing and maturing a PMO is an asset
  • Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • An exceptional and proactive problem solver, embracing challenges head on with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong change management skills
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
Responsibilities
  • Deliver a portfolio of high-priority, interdisciplinary strategic projects while doing the following:
  • Engage senior leadership and diverse stakeholders to deliver organizational clarity of strategic projects, including developing project scope, objectives and project plans
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to continuously improve strategic programs, driving measurable results
  • Lead and manage project execution including adapting work as required, ensuring resource availability, managing risk, managing budgets, removing obstacles and facilitating problem solving
  • Continuously verify project stakeholder alignment
  • Develop and maintain project plans and provide management visibility through regular reporting
  • Evolve strategic projects into impactful programs, aligned to strategic objectives
  • Develop and evolve strategic initiative management process, including maintaining documentation of key initiatives and reporting progress
