Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in computer science or a closely related technical field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, must have two (2) additional years of Computer science experience.
  • Must have at least eight (8) years of professional IOS engineering experience with any amount of experience in each of the following:
  • Experience as an iOS engineer across multiple environments including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Objective-C.
  • Supporting various app extensions, such as watchOS, CarPlay, AppClips, or Live Activities.
  • Supporting open-source SDKs distributed across various package managers.
  • Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bitrise.
  • Distributing apps through TestFlight.
  • Using Proxyman and Postman to support asynchronous client-side development and debugging through protocol mocking.
  • Working with remote features and A/B testing tools such as Optimizely.
  • Creating and maintaining analytic protocols with analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, or MixPanel.
  • Managing deployments, monitoring release stability, and using tools such as SumoLogic and Sentry.
  • Utilizing Semantic Versioning practices for projects where necessary.
  • Supporting and communicating Apple Human Interface Guidelines to internal teams.
  • Proving support for codebase owned or assigned as part of role.
  • Supporting projects across other platforms like Android.
  • Experience with multiple architectural design patterns, such as MVVM and Flow Controllers.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and release high-quality software.
  • Build and maintain critical tooling and ensure iOS compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to communicate changes, propose innovations, and drive the implementation of new technologies.
  • Contribute to design of new features and support QA in managing device fleets.
  • Maintain the codebase and provide mentorship to the engineering team.
  • Serve as an internal expert on evolving technologies.
  • Represent SpotHero as an industry thought leader at events.

(Pinch Photo)Pinch, a Chicago-based, tech-enabled service that facilitates in-home medical spa treatments, has expanded to the Seattle area, the company announced Thursday.The 2-year-old venture-backed startup, which raised $3.5 million in seed funding last year, offers concierge aesthetics services such as tox (commonly referred to by the brand name Botox), chemical peels and microneedling. Board-certified nurse practitioners treat clients to the noninvasive cosmetic procedures in their own homes.Co-founder and CEO Elan Mosbacher told GeekWire that Pinch was attracted to Seattle as its first expansion market because of the city’s strong tech presence and medical community, and what he called an underserved client population.Pinch CEO Elan Mosbacher.
