Requirements
  • Proven experience as an XSLT Developer.
  • Strong expertise in XML, XSLT (XSLT 1.0/2.0/3.0), and XPath.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with stylesheet management and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with the Oxygen XML Editor.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with publishing workflows.
  • Understanding of aerospace technical publication standards, SCORM, iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex XSLT stylesheets for data transformation, validation, and publishing.
  • Design and implement robust stylesheet management strategies.
  • Work with XML and HTML to structure and present data effectively.
  • Integrate XSLT processes with other systems using scripting languages like Python and Java.
  • Utilize the Oxygen XML Editor for stylesheet development, debugging, and testing.
  • Participate in DevOps practices, including version control, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to XSLT processing and data integrity.
  • Optimize XSLT performance for large datasets and high-volume processing.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Implement and maintain XSLT solutions compliant with industry standards like iSpec 2200 and S1000D.
  • Work with Content Management Systems (CMS) used in aerospace technical publications.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace technical publication standards and regulations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of related XML technologies (e.g., XSD, Schematron).
  • Experience with database integration.
  • Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST).
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of other aerospace technical publication standards (e.g., SCORM,iSpec 2200, S1000D).
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) used in aerospace.
