Requirements
  • Possession of a current LEA electrical issued by the Oregon Building Codes Division AND six years of experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems
  • A General Journeyman Electrician license AND six years of experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of manual and computer controlled electronic systems
  • Coordinate workflow and assign work
  • Air lock systems
  • Video/audio recording systems
  • Inspection and maintenance of low voltage systems
  • Perimeter detection
  • Closed circuit television
Responsibilities
  • Designing, installing, administrating, and maintaining all security electronic devices
  • Providing technical support for network computer equipment and operating system software
  • Troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues on and off-site
  • Performing emergency off-hour repairs or reprogramming of alarm, camera, voice, and data systems
  • Mentoring and training teams of adults in custody (AIC) to complete work assignments
